This product is a 200 g/L chlorantraniliprole suspension concentrate (SC) formulation, belonging to the anthranilic diamide class of broad-spectrum insecticides. Chlorantraniliprole acts primarily by activating ryanodine receptors (RyR) in insect muscle cells, causing uncontrolled release of calcium ions from internal stores, leading to muscle paralysis, feeding cessation, and death. It exhibits contact and stomach action with excellent systemic and translaminar activity, providing rapid feeding inhibition and long-lasting residual control.
Suitable for various crops such as rice, cotton, vegetables (cabbage, tomato, cucumber, pepper, eggplant, etc.), fruit trees (apple, pear, citrus, mango), maize, soybean, sugarcane, tea, and ornamental plants. It is used to control a wide range of lepidopteran pests including rice stem borer, rice leaf folder, diamondback moth, beet armyworm, tobacco cutworm, cotton bollworm, fruit borers, soybean pod borer, sugarcane borer, and other chewing pests. Please use according to the recommended dosage within the registered and approved areas.

Key Functions
Chlorantraniliprole is a synthetic anthranilic diamide insecticide developed by DuPont (now FMC Corporation) and first registered for agricultural use in 2007. It is a highly effective insecticide that acts primarily on ryanodine receptors (RyR) in insect muscle cells. By binding to and activating these receptors, chlorantraniliprole causes uncontrolled release of calcium ions from the sarcoplasmic reticulum, leading to depletion of calcium stores, muscle paralysis, feeding cessation, and ultimately death. This mechanism of action is classified as IRAC Group 28 (Ryanodine receptor modulators — Diamides). Chlorantraniliprole is a systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. It exhibits excellent translaminar movement and can be taken up by roots, providing protection to new growth. It is highly effective against a broad spectrum of lepidopteran pests, including many resistant populations, and also has activity against some other chewing insects. Chlorantraniliprole has low mammalian toxicity and is relatively safe to many beneficial arthropods, making it compatible with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs. However, it is toxic to aquatic invertebrates and appropriate precautions must be taken to minimize non-target exposure. It provides rapid feeding inhibition — pests stop feeding within minutes to hours after exposure — and long-lasting residual control.
Key Benefits
1. Broad-spectrum insecticidal activity effectively controlling a wide range of lepidopteran pests, including rice stem borer, rice leaf folder, diamondback moth, beet armyworm, tobacco cutworm, cotton bollworm, fall armyworm, fruit borers, soybean pod borer, and sugarcane borer.
2. Wide range of application, suitable for rice, cotton, vegetables (cabbage, tomato, cucumber, pepper, eggplant, etc.), fruit trees (apple, pear, citrus, mango), maize, soybean, sugarcane, tea, and ornamental plants.
3. Unique mode of action — ryanodine receptor modulator (IRAC Group 28), with no cross-resistance to pyrethroids, organophosphates, carbamates, or other conventional insecticides; ideal for Insect Resistance Management (IRM) and rotation programs.
4. Systemic and translaminar activity — provides protection to new growth and controls pests on the underside of leaves, where many pests feed and shelter.
5. Rapid feeding cessation — pests stop feeding within minutes to hours after exposure, reducing direct crop damage even before mortality occurs.
6. Long-lasting residual activity — provides prolonged protection on treated crops, reducing the number of applications required per season.
7. Excellent IPM compatibility — low mammalian toxicity and relatively low impact on many beneficial arthropods when used as directed.
8. Suspension concentrate (SC) formulation — good stability, easy to measure and mix, suitable for foliar spray application with conventional equipment.
9. High insecticidal potency — effective at very low dose rates, reducing the amount of active ingredient required per hectare.
10. Compatible with other insecticides such as abamectin, emamectin benzoate, indoxacarb, and spirodiclofen for synergistic blending and enhanced efficacy.
