Emamectin Benzoate 5% WDG Insecticide
This product is 5% emamectin benzoate (referred to as emamectin salt) water dispersible granules, which is a high-efficiency macrolide insecticide. Its mechanism of action is to interfere with the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor and glutamic acid-gated chloride ion channel in the insect's nervous system, causing a large amount of chloride ions to flow in, resulting in obstruction of nerve conduction. After feeding, the insect quickly paralyzes and stops harming. Eventually death. This product has strong contact killing and stomach toxic effects, and has a weak fumigation effect.

Key Functions
This product is 5% emamectin benzoate (emamectin salt) water dispersible granules. Its mechanism of action is unique. It mainly acts on the glutamic acid-gated chloride channel (GluCl) and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors in the insect nervous system. After activation, the chloride channel is open for a long time, and a large amount of chloride ions rush into nerve cells, causing hyperpolarization of the postsynaptic membrane, blocking nerve impulse transmission, causing irreversible paralysis of the insect, stopping feeding, and death within 24 to 48 hours. The drug has extremely strong penetration and permeability. It can quickly penetrate through the skin of crops to form drug reservoirs. It is resistant to rain erosion and has a long effective period. It has low toxicity to natural enemies, insects and mammals, and is an ideal agent for integrated control (IPM).
Key Benefits
1. This product contains 5% methylaminoavermectin benzoate and has a high content of active ingredients. It has excellent control against lepidopteran pests (such as cotton bollworm, diamondback moth, beet armyworm, rice leaf roller, corn borer, etc.). The knockout speed is fast, and the pests stop feeding within a few hours after the application, protecting crops from continuous harm.
2. It has strong permeability and weak fumigation effect. The liquid medicine can quickly penetrate the leaves and is resistant to rainwater erosion. It will not affect the efficacy when encountering rain 1 - 2 hours after application. The lasting effect period is as long as 7 - 10 days, reducing the number of application applications, saving labor and costs.
3. The water-dispersible granules (WDG) dosage form has obvious advantages: no dust flying, making it safe for operators; accurate measurement, high dispersibility and suspension rate, good stability, and easy storage and transportation; rapid disintegration after entering water to form a uniform suspension., spray without clogging.
4. It is relatively safe to beneficial insects and natural enemies (such as ladybugs, laceflies, and predatory mites), and has low toxicity to bees (used at the recommended dose). It is suitable for combining with biological control and incorporating it into the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system to delay the development of resistance.
