Key Functions

This product is a 200g/L chlorantraniliprole suspension concentrate. Chlorantraniliprole is a potent activator of insect ryanodine receptors (RyR), which are calcium-release channels in the sarcoplasmic reticulum of muscle cells. Upon binding, it triggers a massive and uncontrolled release of calcium ions, depleting intracellular calcium stores and causing sustained muscle contraction, paralysis, and eventual death of the insect. It exhibits high selectivity for insect RyR over mammalian receptors, providing excellent safety to non-target organisms. The compound has strong systemic properties, being absorbed by roots and leaves, and translocated via xylem, providing protection to new growth. It also shows translaminar movement, killing pests on the underside of leaves. Its prolonged residual activity reduces the need for frequent applications.
