Lambda-cyhalothrin 25g/L EC Insecticide
This product is a 25g/L lambda-cyhalothrin emulsifiable concentrate, a broad-spectrum pyrethroid insecticide with strong contact and stomach action, as well as some repellent and anti-feeding effects. It acts on the voltage-gated sodium channels in nerve cells, prolonging sodium ion influx and causing repeated nerve discharge, leading to rapid paralysis, feeding cessation, and eventual death of target pests. It is effective against a wide range of insects and mites.

Key Functions
This product is a 25g/L lambda-cyhalothrin emulsifiable concentrate. Lambda-cyhalothrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that acts on the voltage-gated sodium channels of nerve cell membranes. It binds to the sodium channel and delays the closure of the channel, causing a prolonged sodium influx and repetitive depolarization. This results in hyperexcitation, convulsions, paralysis, and quick knockdown of the target pest. It also exhibits strong repellent and anti-feeding properties, reducing crop damage immediately after application. The compound is highly lipophilic, providing excellent rainfastness and UV stability, and has both contact and stomach activity. It is rapidly metabolized in mammals and plants, making it safe for the environment when used as recommended.
Key Benefits
1. This product contains 25g/L lambda-cyhalothrin, a highly potent pyrethroid insecticide offering rapid knockdown and excellent broad-spectrum control of major agricultural pests, including cotton bollworm, armyworm, diamondback moth, aphids, thrips, and plant bugs, as well as providing suppression of mite populations.
2. It acts quickly – pests are paralyzed and stop feeding within minutes of exposure, protecting crops from further damage. Its strong repellent and anti-feeding effects reduce the frequency of insect attacks, and the residual activity lasts for 7–10 days, extending protection between sprays.
3. The EC formulation ensures easy emulsification in water, forming a stable and uniform spray mixture. It is rainfast within 1–2 hours after application and has excellent photostability, maintaining efficacy under sunlight. The formulation is compatible with most other pesticides for tank mixing.
4. It is highly effective at very low application rates, reducing the chemical load on the environment and lowering costs. It is also safe to crops when applied according to label instructions, and its fast degradation in soil and water minimizes long-term environmental impact, making it suitable for integrated pest management (IPM) programs.
