Glufosinate-ammonium 200g/L SL Herbicide
This product is a 200g/L glufosinate-ammonium soluble liquid, a non-selective contact herbicide with some systemic activity. It inhibits glutamine synthetase, leading to rapid accumulation of ammonium in plant tissues, disruption of photosynthesis, and subsequent cell membrane damage. Weeds show wilting and chlorosis within 2–4 days, with complete desiccation occurring in 5–7 days. It is partially translocated within the plant but does not affect untreated roots or rhizomes.

Description
It is suitable for directional spraying in non-cropland, orchards, vineyards, rubber plantations, and between rows in corn, soybeans, cotton, and sugarcane, as well as for pre-plant burndown in no-till fields. It controls a broad spectrum of annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds such as crabgrass, goosegrass, barnyard grass, pigweed, lambsquarters, horseweed, and dayflower. Please use at the recommended dose in areas where the product has been registered and approved.

Key Functions
This product is a 200g/L glufosinate-ammonium soluble liquid. The active ingredient acts by inhibiting glutamine synthetase, a key enzyme in nitrogen metabolism. This inhibition causes a rapid accumulation of ammonium ions in plant tissues, leading to the disruption of the photosystem II, chloroplast membrane destruction, and ultimately cell death. It is a contact herbicide with limited systemic movement (xylem translocated), so thorough spray coverage is essential for optimal performance. It is rapidly degraded by soil microorganisms (DT50 ≈ 3–10 days) and has no activity in soil, making it safe for following crops.
Key Benefits
1. This product contains 200g/L glufosinate-ammonium, providing rapid burn-down activity with visible symptoms within 2–4 days after application, making it an ideal choice for quick weed control before crop emergence or between rows.
2. It has a broad weed control spectrum covering both annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds, including glyphosate-resistant biotypes such as horseweed, ryegrass, and amaranthus species, offering an effective alternative for resistance management.
3. It is rapidly degraded in soil by microbial activity with a short half-life, leaving no persistent residue. This allows flexible crop rotation without the risk of carryover injury to sensitive succeeding crops.
4. The SL formulation is easy to handle, measure, and mix with water, with excellent solubility and tank-mix compatibility with many other herbicides and crop protection products, supporting integrated weed management (IWM) programs.
